Biomagnification Case Study

Biomagnification works in a way in which it increase in concentration of a pollutant from one link in a food chain to another. One example is the lab we did in class, in the end the pollution was very high for the top of the food chain in which can cause effects on the animal's who hold too much DDT.
DTT Malaria affects people in many countries, including many Africa and Asian countries, and countries of the Americas as far north as Mexico DDT has been an effective tool in fighting malaria, but at a high cost to the environments human health. .DDT was used in the second half of World war  to control the insect-borne diseases, malaria and typhus. The reason why is that DDT is associated in the public mind with harm to ecosystems, and it has mostly been replaced with other pesticides with less persistence in the environment.
fortIn summary we have been trying to cleanupthe DTT that plagus the planet. ..In addition to the clean up plan we also try not to use DTT as much like in ww2.. Here is an example of how toxins move up in the food chain, mercury becomes added to the food web.  Eventually, the contaminated plants, bacteria and plankton will be eaten by predators, such as fish.  The methylmercury toxins will move into the tissues of the fish and poison a new level of the food web. Then the fish will be eating by another predictor and so forth
